3 Reasons for advertising in Facebook

1.    Reach

With more than 2 billon monthly active users Facebook is the biggest and most used digital platform on the web. You can be sure that most of your potential clients are there. It has more users than the rest of the “pure” social networks combine: Instagram (that belongs to Facebook), Twitter and Snapchat. Besides, they do not just download the app or open an account, they are actually very engaged and spend a lot of time using it. According to Facebook’s web site, in the United States, one in five minutes of mobile’s use is spent on Facebook or Instagram. This means that you will not only reach your costumers, but you will have more chances to capture their attention and could even engaged with them in ways you cannot do it otherwise.

Facebook’s features for advertising are cool, but mostly, they are effective. They will get the job done. If you have the right marketing strategy, if you know your costumers, if you what are you selling, if you know what is it the goal you want to achieve and the results you want to get, the execution part is not rocket science thanks to the features that Facebook offers. They will guide you through the whole process and give you the tools to have a nice and effective advertisement.

For example, the segmenting features will help you targeting the type of costumer you are looking for.  Facebook knows who they are, where they are, what they like, what are their interests, who are their friends, what they care about and even sometimes they know more of their users than the users themselves. This feature will help you to target your actual customers, thus to spend more wisely.

However, if you already have got clients and want to get new ones the “Lookalike Audience” feature is what you need.  Just handle Facebook your current costumers (emails, mobile numbers, fans or web visitors) and they will find you more clients that look like them. It’s like “the multiplication of loaves and fish” but with costumers!

 And of course, it is always about money and that is one of the reason why Facebook is a must in your marketing strategy.

So now you know that with the right strategy and a little budget you can advertise with the rest of 5 million[1] advertisers that have presence in Facebook. Perhaps they are not all necessarily wrong, are they?
